11+ High Paying Affiliate Programs You Need To Start Promoting ASAP

I absolutely love affiliate marketing! Why? Because it’s the second best way to make money online and anyone can make money with it. The first way is creating and selling your own products. But creating and selling products can be very time consuming and can end up being a complete waste of time if you don’t do it right.

You don’t run into that problem with affiliate marketing! Here’s the process. Someone else creates a product/service–>you try the product–>you passionately promote the product to others since you love it–>the person that created the product gives you a commission. They make a sale they wouldn’t have if it weren’t for you and you get to make some money for very little effort on your part. It’s a WIN WIN!

So once you join an affiliate company, you are given a special link to track when someone clicks over to the company you are promoting. The amount of money you make from affiliates depends on your audience size. You can make money from selling to friends and family, but you will make way more if you have a blog or large Facebook following to promote to. Any social media platform is great to promote on. Email is also a very great way to promote your links.

So now that you know the potential of affiliate marketing and where to promote your links, here are some great affiliate program’s that you can join to start making money right away. Oh yeah, and all of these programs are free to join!

1. Amazon Associates

I know many bloggers that make thousands of dollars a month with Amazon. I’m personally only making a hundred dollars a month, sometimes two from referring Amazon products. It all depends on how much time you put into creating content around their products and promoting them.

I’ve only written a couple of posts that I refer a lot of their products in and will add a link in posts where it’s relevant. So a couple hundred dollars a month for doing hardly any work is pretty good for me. I personally focus on other affiliates that I find to do better with my audience. To each their own, but Amazon is certainly a company you want to be a part of. Who doesn’t love passive income?!

2. Commission Junction

So I want to explain something real quick to you. There are direct companies you can become a partner with (i.e. Amazon) and there are affiliate companies that get you in touch with many different companies that you can promote. It’s sometimes easier for a company (i.e. Turbotax) to use a third party company like Commission Junction to handle their affiliate program.

So when you sign up for Commission Junction, you will have a long list of companies to choose from. I really like promoting Turbotax to my audience, mainly around tax time.

3. Affiliate Window

AWIN is another affiliate company and they also have some great offers you can promote. I love Etsy and promote products I love to my readers. They don’t have a direct program, so I had to sign up with AWIN to join. There are a ton of other great programs on their website too.

4. Share a Sale

This affiliate company is very popular and you will have a lot of options to choose from here. I recommend some blogging products I use through Share a Sale.

5. Ibotta

Ibotta is a company that gives cash back for grocery purchases. They have a referral program and you get $5 for everyone that signs up through your link.

6. Ebates

Ebates is an online shopping rebate site that gives you a small percentage of cash back on your purchases. They also have a $5 referral program and bloggers get an even sweeter deal to refer people. $75 for 3 sign ups, $400 for 25 sign ups, and so on.

7. $5 Meal Plan

$5 Meal Plan is a weekly meal planning service pays 30% per referral you send their way.

8. Bookscouter

Bookscouter is a great place for people to sell their books online. Affiliates earn $0.15 per click. This might not sound like a lot but can really add up over time for minimal work on your part.

9. My Freeze Easy

My Freeze Easy is a freezer meal planning service. They help you to prepare 10 delicious meals to load into your freezer in under an hour. They pay commissions on valid referrals.

10. Airbnb

Airbnb is a website that gets users in touch with accommodating homes to stay in while they are traveling, instead of having to stay in a hotel. Many people prefer the options they get from staying in a vacant house, like having a back yard for their pets and more space for their party. You can earn up to $110 credit for each referral.

11. Thrive Market

Thrive Market is an online shop that sells a variety of organic products. Affiliates earn $25 for each paid member you send their way.

Don’t ignore the power of affiliate marketing. There is so much money to be made! If you are a blogger writing a post about tax deductions, include your affiliate link to a company that your readers can do their taxes with. You could also write a post directly surrounding a certain affiliate program. For example, you could do a gift idea post that includes multiple affiliate links.

If you aren’t a blogger and don’t have a large following, you could always post products on your Facebook page using your special link. And always remember to add an affiliate disclosure to each post and follow the rules of each affiliate company (some don’t let you post links in emails- like Amazon- for example).
