Have you started a blog and fallen flat?

Want to know something? This could either put a damper on your parade or it could be exactly what you need to hear to make this whole blogging thing click.

5 Steps to Turn Your Blog into an Online Business cheatsheet. Are you ready to stop just being another blogger in the sea of MILLIONS of bloggers and become a real online business owner? This cheatsheet introduces you to the blog to online business formula. This is the same formula that makes online business owners the big bucks! BLOGGING = ONLINE MARKETING.

This means that something has to be being sold for you to make money. So you could either be bringing in traffic and getting paid for ads (still online marketing) or selling your own product or affiliate product to your readers. It’s that simple.

Did you know that about 79% of Americans shop online and 81% conduct online research before making a big purchase? Naturally, people like to buy things. I mean, don’t you?

Ever heard of the 40/40/20 Rule of Marketing? To be a successful online marketer, 40% depends on your target audience (so no trying to sell ice to Eskimos), 40% depends on your product (even an affiliate product), and 20% on your creativity (the way you present the product).

So what does this mean for you? That you can totally become a REAL online business owner with the right direction.

I started my blog about a year and a half ago with a hope and a dream of being able to do what I love for a living, writing and helping others. I didn’t know what I was doing but I knew that I could achieve my dream if I just put in the work.

So I worked hard and learned everything I could. In about six months, I was finally able to stay home with my little girl on a modest income. But soon I ran into a big problem because I was relying on one income stream.

My income wasn’t steady. You can imagine how scary that was for me! I had to make a change…and quick.

So I started studying other bloggers.

I signed up to receive their emails, analyzed how they were selling to their lists, how they got me into their “sales funnels”, how they were bringing in traffic…everything that they were doing, I was watching. It’s called reverse engineering. And let me tell you, it’s VERY time-consuming. But it was so worth it.

And one day, it all just clicked for me. All of these bloggers used the same method. Just with their unique products and ideas. That meant I could do the same thing with the things I knew most about and that my audience was interested in! It was such an awesome experience to FINALLY understand how this whole making money online thing worked! And the craziest part…it’s so simple that literally anyone could make money this way. I mean if they put in the work, of course.
