Most bloggers want to make money from their website but are clueless on how to actually make it happen. We all know the main streams of income for bloggers are ads, sponsored posts, affiliate marketing, and selling your own products. Everything seemed pretty straightforward, but when I actually started trying to promote my affiliate links I wasn’t seeing any conversions.

I couldn’t figure out what I was doing wrong and I felt that there wasn’t really any money to be made from affiliate marketing. And then I stumbled across an article about Michelle’s online course, Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing. I could hardly believe that someone was making $50,000 a month just from affiliate marketing when I couldn’t even get so much as a click through!

Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing: How Michelle Makes $50,000 A Month in Affiliate Income With Her Blog. Making money blogging isn't as hard as you think. Check out this helpful interview with Michelle to learn more about her online course so you can be on your make to earning more in affiliate income.

In the beginning of my blogging journey, I thought I could learn everything on my own. But personally, I didn’t want to wait years to figure everything out. This course taught me so much that I had no idea about and I have already seen great results from using her methods. Like Michelle likes to say, “affiliate marketing isn’t as simple as dumping a bunch of affiliate links into a blog post.” I think every blogger thinks that until they realize no one is clicking on their links.

That’s why I reached out to Michelle for an interview. These are the questions that I feel will best help you decide if this course is the right choice for you.

1. When did you start blogging?

In the summer of 2011, I created Making Sense of Cents with the hopes of teaching people money saving tips after reading a magazine that featured a personal finance website in one of their articles. The comment section was full of bloggers and readers who were interested in improving their financial situation, and my love for personal finance blogs started there 🙂

Before that summer in 2011, I didn’t even know that blogs were around. I didn’t know what they were about, the point of them, that they could make money, etc.

I did not create my blog with the hopes of earning money online. It was all just a hobby and that’s how it was for quite some time. I then realized how much I loved blogging and realized that it was for me, so now I am a full-time blogger!

On Making Sense of Cents, I talk a lot about different ways to make extra money, money saving tips, living your dream life, RVing (me and my husband RV full-time), and more.

I’m so very happy that I started my blog 5 years ago!

2. How long did it take you to start making money and could this course have helped you to make money sooner?

Like I said above, I didn’t create my blog with the hopes of earning money through my blog. Due to that, I never sought out ways to make extra money, because I didn’t even know it was possible. I ended up earning my first $100 through a sponsored advertisement that a fellow blogging friend threw my way.

This course could have definitely helped me to make money sooner!

Also, I’ve been interested in affiliate income since about a year after I created my blog, but I never thought it was possible before. I always thought that you had to have a big following and a lot of page views in order to be successful with affiliate marketing.

Around two years ago, I gave myself a goal of earning affiliate income, and I worked hard towards achieving that goal. I started by making a little bit each month, and then it just continued to grow month after month.

3. Who will benefit from taking your course?

6. What are some key things you want people to take away from your course?

I think the key things people will learn in Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing include:

  1. How to use Pinterest to succeed at affiliate marketing (yes, this includes the newest Pinterest affiliate rules!). I believe Pinterest is extremely important when it comes to affiliate marketing success. Due to this, I have included two very detailed lessons on Pinterest, one that is all about promoting your affiliate products and blog on Pinterest, and another that teaches you exactly how to increase your Pinterest traffic (this is one of the high value bonuses that are offered in the course). Pinterest users LOVE to buy products, so affiliate marketing is the perfect fit for this social media platform.
  2. The many various strategies to use to promote affiliate products to your audience. Affiliate marketing is not as easy as just slapping affiliate links on your website and calling it a day. There are many different ways to promote an affiliate product, and I recommend learning about all of them and applying as many as you can to your affiliate marketing strategy.
  3. How to build trust with your readers and not lose followers. Too many new affiliate marketers sign up for anything and everything when it comes to affiliate marketing. However, that’s the wrong way to approach affiliate marketing! You should only promote products that you have experience with, that you personally trust and believe in, and/or that you have had a positive experience with.

7. I really love the bonuses that come with this course. Many course members find the Pinterest Strategy Guide and access to the Facebook group extremely helpful. Could you tell us a bit about them?

Yes, there are many great bonuses that come with the course!

By purchasing my Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing course, you will receive access to the Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing Facebook Mastermind group. This exclusive group will help you connect with others who have taken the course so that you can get feedback, ask questions, learn from others who are currently taking the course, as well as offer help of your own.

The other bonus is the amazing Pinterest Strategy Guide. I learned my Pinterest strategy from the best, Rosemarie Groner from The Busy Budgeter. She is a Pinterest consultant and helps bloggers increase their Pinterest traffic tremendously. Because I am a huge believer in how Pinterest can help you to improve your affiliate income, I asked Rosemarie to share her Pinterest strategy for my course as a guest instructor lesson. She charges $46 for her Pinterest Strategy Guide, but you get it for free with Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing! I use this same exact strategy for Pinterest, and it has helped to increase my traffic tremendously. This strategy has allowed both her and I to receive hundreds of thousands of visitors from Pinterest each month, significantly improving both of our affiliate incomes.

8. What sets your course apart from other affiliate marketing resources?

There is really no other affiliate marketing course that is similar to mine. I have a very well rounded course that is applicable to any niche and any blogger, filled with great strategies, lessons, and high value bonuses. I teach all of my best strategies that help me earn over $50,000 a month through affiliate marketing!

9. How much does your course cost and is there a payment plan available?

My course is priced at $197. There is a payment plan of $105 a month, for two months, which makes the total cost $210 on the payment plan. Both are a great value!

10. Most people feel better about their purchase when it comes with a satisfaction guarantee. Do you offer a return policy?

I would never want you to be unhappy! If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, contact me in the first 30 days and I will give you a full refund. But, you must show me that you went through the course and took action, because none of the tips and methods I share will work without you taking the time to implement them.
