We all want to save money, but it can get overwhelming with all the different information out there floating around on the web. I know I personally like having information all in one spot, instead of having to refer back to a ton of different articles to help me out.
Here are 9 awesome lists that will save you money in all areas of your life. From home and transportation to leisure and weddings, you can easily find some amazing ways to save money that you have never thought of before.
1.Home
Who doesn’t love Walmart? Did you know…
- You don’t have to bring an ad to price match? The cashier can look it up.
- You can get credit for items that drop in price after you buy them?
- Use the Amazon app to check and see if you are getting the lowest possible price?
Find the rest of these Walmart hacks from The Krazy Coupon Lady.
2.Buying a car
Buying a car can be scary, used or new. You certainly hear more about sketchy car salesmen than you do the honest ones. But getting a used car can be extra intimidating. Who knows what’s really wrong with that car you want?
And buying from an individual! That’s enough to stress you out to the max! I had a friend that bought a car from someone that put a different kind of oil in the car so it would burn slower. A couple weeks later, they realized that the car had some major issues.
These tips are super helpful so you don’t end up in a bind over buying a piece of crap car. Find out exactly what you need to keep an eye out for and some of the tricks that could be used to con you.
You can check all of them out from Double The Batch here.
3.Leisure
It’s so easy to unnecessarily spend money in our off time! It can seem like everything costs so much money, but we want to enjoy our lives as well.
This list is great because it goes over some things you can do at home, outside of the home, with friends/family, and with kids that won’t cost you a dime. Instead of going to the movies, do something on this list and save $10 a person for the ticket plus popcorn and a drink.

4.Groceries
This is a big area people want to save money. Food is so expensive these days! Just spending a little extra time by doing all of the things on this list will pay off dramatically.
I know couponing and signing up for savings programs can seem like a bother, but think of it this way. You have to work hard for the money you’re spending at the store. You put in the hours to make the money, so why not put in the extra couple minutes to help you keep more of it.

5.Transportation
I don’t know how many times I’ve helped people get their car started when it was just an extremely small issue, like the battery terminals being corroded and just needing to be cleaned. And many of them were ready to call a tow truck and pay for a shop to fix the problem! That could cost hundreds of dollars for something that would take you a couple minutes to fix yourself!
You don’t have to be a mechanic to have a basic understanding of your car. I like to take my car to a parts store and get advice from them before taking it to a shop. Lots of times, they help me for free when I buy a part there.

6.Bills
Our monthly bills can be a killer! I don’t know how many times I have waited until the last possible day to pay something. That is a terrible idea btw. I actually completely forgot to pay my water bill a couple times and it got shut off. That’s always fun.

Wedding costs can skyrocket very quickly. Every woman wants a beautiful wedding and every good man wants to give it to her, but couples should not spend outside their means for their special day. Starting off a marriage in debt is a recipe for disaster.
